Individual socialization has been the main issue of Sociology, Anthropology,Education, Psychology and so forth. In the field of Education, the individualsocialization, methods, environment, factors, etc, are paid more attention in academy.In other words, how education, the social factor, influences the process of individualsocialization, and how to promote it. As for the Hani people who live in a"multicultural" environment, the children’s social environment is much unique andcomplex. They are constrained by the culture system while they should adapt to thedevelopment of the modern mainstream culture. What is the current situation abouttheir socialization? How individuals adapt to the "cultural diversity"? How toachieve the best survival and integrated development in such a "multicultural"background? Based on these above mentioned questions, this thesis aims to probeinto the socialization in Hani families, and the impact of family education. There arefive parts consisted in this thesis:In the first part, through focusing on the previous relevant studies, the authorwants to understand the current situation in this field.The seconed part si about the theoretical foundations are designed respectivelybased on the sethouch of Fei Xiaotong and Talcott Parsons.The social system of family action and culture system are analyzed in the thiredpart. The descriptions are mainly from the location of family, resources, structures,relationships, educational values, educational content and other methods.The fouth part is focused on the role internalization of children and personalitysystems, which is analyzed mainly from the living skills, life goals, identity, socialinteraction, self-role-playing, self-awareness and other social standards.The fifth part is about the conclusion. Above everything else, the Hani familyculture is becoming a "diversity and unity". Moreover, there is a lack of ethnicculture in family education. Thirdly, the internalization ethnic identity is not enoughwithin the personality system. Last but not least, conscious guidance of socializationfor their children’s is inadequate in the Hani family. Suggestions are provided tofacilitate minority children to "diversity and unity”.
