Human being has enter the ear of information, which means the Internet hasprofoundly changed the daily life of the people. Using the Internet to gain knowledgeand develop abilities has became the new trend of the information age. Besides it isthe ideal way of achieving lifelong study. Collage students are the new generationwho could advance with times and accept the new speculative knowledge. Howeverthe traditional learning methods have became the shackles to the youth. The emergeand the application of the e-learning become very important to this generation.Nevertheless plenty of the factors affect the results of the e-learning, among which theinternal factor of the collage students and the effective choice of the e-learningmethods are two fundamental effects which influence the result of the e-leaning.Gansu province is located in the western undeveloped area of China. Localeducation sector pay less attention to the e-learning for the collage students which lagbehind the eastern developed and cental developing area of China. To understand thecurrent situation of e-learning and research how to improve the result of e-learning inour province, this paper will focus on the following content. The comprehensive andsystematic researches of network literacy and e-learning methods of the collagestudents will have the profound and practical significance.The first chapter is introduction of the paper. This part will introduce thebackground, the target and the content of the research. At the same time the methodsand the choice of the subject investigated will be clarified. The formation ofthequestionnaire and the meaning of the research will be represented.The second chapter is the summary of the document. The connotation and therelative concepts of the network literacy, the e-learning methods and the currentresearch both in China and abroad will be summarized. At the end the writer raise thepersonnel cognition to these two concepts and explain the point of the reference ofthe research.The third chapter is a hard core which is dependent on the early results of theresearch. This chapter analyse the network literacy of the collage students and statusquo of the e-learning in Gansu province. The summery of the existing problems provide the premise of the countermeasure in the following chapters.Chapter4is based on the dissection of the third chapter’s problems. This chapterrepresent the strategy of improving the network literacy and optimizing the e-learningmethods among the collage students in our province.The final chapter is the conclusion and deficiencies of this research. The chaptersummarize the whole work and point out the conclusion and shortcomings,meanwhile demonstrate the research area to the writer in the near future.
