Talent is the power of the development of the society, for the amount of talent not only directly reflects the economic and culture level, but also affects the local development of economic and culture. The Great Mongol-Yuan Empire is the dynasty established by ethnic minority in the north China, and this period is a special era of the political center in the north and economical center in the south of China. Shanxi is particularly important status in political and military because it was a communication channel between the Central Plains peoples and the northern ethnic minorities. The distribution of Shanxi’s talents in the Mongol-Yuan Dynasty was showing new features because of this political environment. The proportion of Shanxi’s talents in the Mongol-Yuan Dynasty had been declining in the whole country; while the proportion of talent only had little changes and showed a small range of fluctuations in the north. The number and density of Shanxi’s talent ranking the seventh and tenth respectively in the whole country, most less than the neighboring province of Hebei and Henan, was not dominant. The distribution of Shanxi’s talent had showed the trend of imbalance in the number and type during the Great Mongol-Yuan Empire, and the distribution of the different types of talent are very different at different times or in different areas. The talents in the Jinnan area were at most, Jinzhong’s were in the middle, Jinbei’s were at least. In early of Mongol-Yuan Dynasty, Shanxi had emerged a large number of Military attaches, and to the medium-term, the Civil services had been significantly increased. In the Last Time of the Yuan Dynasty, people everywhere had the uprising, however, the anti-Yuan struggle in Shanxi is small and weak in scale, the generals are not too much. Yuan dynasty drama were the most flourishing in the Yuan Dynasty. As one of the centers of the Yuan Dynasty drama activity area, Pingyang (roughly for this Jinnan area) had emerged a group of the composer of drama in Yuan Dynasty. In addition, the Yuan Dynasty as the stage of rule by the minority, Shanxi also emerged a large number of ethnic minorities talents. The distribution pattern of Shanxi’s talents in the Mongol-Yuan Dynasty was the result of the interaction of multiple factors, these factors are mainly in the natural, political, economic, culture, customs, history and so forth. In general, the impact of the natural environment is indirect, it play a part in the talents distribution pattern by affecting the local economic and culture; while human dimensions impact on the Shanxi’s talents pattern in the Yuan Dynasty is even more direct. Conversely, Shanxi’s talents of the Yuan Dynasty had an important impact on local development, also expressed in the economic, political cultur and lives, they contributed to the development of Shanxi through their own efforts. The effective measures for developing and attracting talents taken by the Mongol-Yuan government, such as the trilingual parallel teaching policies and the ancient college system in Yuan Dynasty had accumulated some experience for education of "bilingualism"or "trilingualism", schools handles fairly privately operated.
