Teachers are one of the key factors relating to the success or failure of the basiceducation curriculum reform.Teaching ability is the basis of teachers’ implementationof quality education.Therefore, raising the level of teachers’ teaching ability is animportant guarantee for educational reform.Higher Normal College should providequalified teachers for basic education, and must face the new requirements of thecurriculum reform of it.To information technology education in primary andsecondary schools, the primary task is to improve the IT curriculum teaching abilityof the Educational Technology Normal College Students. This study based on theaccess to documents and the related research results,cleared that the basicrequirements of new curriculum reform for IT teachers,and builded the structure ofthe IT teachers’ teaching ability in the context of the new curriculum. Structural basisfor the ability to construct.Then through the form of interviews, classroomobservation and questionnaires, collating and analyzing the current situation of the ITcurriculum teaching ability and the main problems in the training process as follows.Firstly, the Educational Technology Normal College Students lack an active interestand Indifferent to the new curriculum proactively;Second, it is not ideal that themastery of teaching skills for normal students;Third, the education and practicesessions exist some problems, for example the phenomena of short time, singlecontents, poor guidance, going through the motions and so on.Against the aboveproblems, the article propose some corresponding strategy from three aspects, whichis the optimization of the curriculum system, educational practice, Normal SchoolStudents self-development.In order to provide a reference of the cultivation of theNormal School Students in Educational Technology.This study consists of seven chapters.The frist chapter is about the research background, problems, aims, significance, ideasand methods, Related research at home and abroad as well as the definition.Chapter two,the basis of literature research and combed the theoretical basis.Chapter three is that the new curriculum need basic requirements to informationtechnology teachers.Chapter four,combining the domestic and international research on the structure of teachers’ teaching ability, information technology curriculum standards, as well asinterviews,questionnaires,etc.builds structure of teaching ability of IT teacher in thenew curriculum context.Chapter five,on the basis of the statistical questionnaire,analyzes the currentstatus quo of IT curriculum teaching ability of Educational Technology NormalCollege Students and exposes the main problems in the process.Chapter six,Against of the problems in the course of the investigation,whichproposes training strategies on the Educational Technology Normal College Students’IT curriculum teaching ability.Chapter seven,This part sums up the conclusions of this study. At the same time,the necessary reflection and prospect to the research process and content.
