Since the Reform and Opening-up, Christianity gets a rapid development inChina, especially in the rural areas, becoming a social phenomenon that should not beneglected. This paper set the L Christ church, Q County, Gansu province as acase, research the Christians in the church with the perspective of sociology.Study and description the interaction ritual of Rural Christian faith through thequalitative research methods of observation and in-depth interviews, and analyzes thefunction of interaction ritual of Christian faith by the sociology perspective.Through the empirical research of the L Christ church, the author found thatChristian religious have the following ceremonies: pray, praise, testimony, worship,baptism and communion, weddings and funerals were two big etiquettes forchristians, there are three big parties in rural Christian every year, namely cultivatespiritual party in Lunar January,summer and winter Christmas. In addition, becauseof the special historical, cultural, and economic background, between christians andbetween christians and non-christians have a series of interaction about Christianity,for comprehensive study the rural Christian faith is extremely important.From the standpoint of the cultural theme, the interaction ritual of rural Christianfaith playing a huge function. Interactive ceremonies can help people choose ofreligious belief, can promote the identity of Christians, participate interaction ritualconstantly can consolidate the religious beliefs, and interaction ritual of Christian canadjust believers inside, make believers get "joy". But the interaction ritual of Christianfaith also have a series of negative function, local governments should guide the ruralChristian faith properly, utilize the positive function of interaction ritual to promotecultural development in rural area.
