Social Work Volunteer Linkage Involved In The Mutual Help Among Neighbors

With the accelerated process of urbanization in China, people’s residential environment has got great improvement, but the relationship between the neighborhood relationships became strange. Mutual help among neighbors is one part of the Chinese nation’s fine traditions. Currently, building a harmonious society has become the common goal of the whole country. Village in the city, the neighborhood is even more sensitive.Village industrial area, shazui, Futian District, Shenzhen, to the author of this article, for example, describes how social work Intervenes village neighborhood of mutual aid in community projects. This paper proposed the establishment of neighborhood assistance platform, and the volunteer concept, which is used to establish in the community platform neighborhood assistance. Implementation of neighborhood assistance, will fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the people and enhance their potential, and develop the residents’sense of belonging to the community and a sense of ownership.In this article, it is proposed the concept of neighborhood volunteers. This article will be from the social work practice methods, which combines with Interventional community volunteer work practices to explore neighborhood redevelopment, involved in neighborhood assistance. This article carries out substantive research by using the method of social work professional that social workers lead the volunteers, and volunteers assist social workers.It introduces the duplex combined intervention of neighborhood mutual help in three ways, including case work, group work and community work, it will use cases to elaborate on the case work, group work and community activities how to ultimately achieve the community neighborhood mutual help.By practice research found, first, neighborhood mutual of implementation needs individual of problem be solved individually by case work practices, which will solve individual problems, more serious of cases, and train s community leaders. Second, on community there are mass homogeneity in some groups can use group work method to intervene, deepening community residents’ collective consciousness, and strengthening its community of belonging sense. Third, carrying out community activities which community residents interested in and which meets their needs is attracted residents to join in community neighborhood mutual action. While, three kinds of practices to intervene, are needed at the same time.they are mutual penetration.But in practice, there are still many shortcomings, social workers and volunteers can’t fully play the role in it. First, it need play more role of leading and guide for social workers. And it should be built good community neighborhood assistance platform. Second, it should be built the greater neighborhood volunteer platform to converge with the district and municipal volunteers, increasing the enthusiasm of neighborhood volunteers. Third, the community and Government should increase community support including venue and funding for the neighborhood assistance, ensuring the neighborhood mutual-aid projects can run smoothly.
