This research looks into expectations and the present situation of kindergarten teachers learning, by using the qualitative method. This research collects data by means of using the literature and the interview.Firstly, kindergarten teachers learning loads a lot of social expectations, which from the administrators, researchers and kindergarten teachers themselves. This research finds that researchers put forward the same view as administrators, they both except teachers to become lifelong learners, independent learners, reflective researchers, and cooperative members. Kindergarten teachers themselves expect that their learning content can be targeted, easy to understand and having combination with their practice. They expect to carry out diversified learning ways. They expect more support like adequate self-study time, suitable environment and more professional resources. They also expect that there will be real harvest in the learning process. It has found that teachers’own expectations comply with the former twos, also the contradiction between them are in a continuum.Secondly, according to the understanding of the present situation of kindergarten teachers learning, this research finds that kindergarten teachers have strong learning motivation and developing desire, they are also involving a wide range of learning content. It complies with the expectations of administrators and researchers. But the starting point of these expectations are different, kindergarten teachers have misunderstood the relationship of working and learning and the expectation from administrators and researchers, kindergarten teachers learning lacks of a security system, at the same time, the trainers of kindergarten teachers don’t have enough capacity, so there are also a lot of gap between the present situation and expectation of kindergarten teachers learning.Lastly, based upon the enlightenment of this study, researcher gives some suggestions on kindergarten teachers learning both to the administrator and the kindergarten teachers. For one thing, the administrator should listen to the voice of kindergarten teachers, give them strong backing, and lead them to the way of independent learning. For another, kindergarten teachers should have a correct understanding of the relationship of learning and working, plan their own learning process rationally, actively carry out various typeset of learning, actively create learning conditions for themselves, overcome their lazy character, and happy to communicate with their colleagues.
