Content: Ideological and political course is a curriculum in which the senior high schoolstudents are systematically given citizenship moral education,common sense education forMarxism and social science. It is the main way of moral education in secondary schools andthe main front of the ideological and political education for high school students. It plays animportant role in helping students to establish a correct political direction, to foster goodmoral quality, to develop the habits of healthy and civilized behavior and to form a correctworld outlook, outlook on life and values. How to fully play the deserved role of ideologicaland political course and improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching has become anational and educational focus.As a current politics teacher, combining with my own teaching practice and thetheoretical knowledge of graduate courses, I do a systematical and further research on highschool students’ learning behavior of ideological and political course, using many researchmethods, including Literature research methods, questionnaire method, case study method,observation and interview method and other research methods. First of all, after establishingthe research issues and object, I begin to extensively find the research literature of domesticand foreign related questions, and try to understand the previous research angles andconclusions on this problem, as well as the shortcomings of existing studies, and as a startingpoint for my research. Aiming at high school students’ learning characteristics, learningsituation and learning characteristics of ideological and political course, I work out thequestionnaire about high school students’ ideological and political course learning behavior.After the questionnaire prediction, the quantity is adjusted and can be tested on the basis ofthe project analysis and reliability analysis. At the same time, I collect classroom learningbehavior details, and then have a character analysis on the recorded events. At the end of theobservation period, I have a concentrated interview with two teachers and students and recordit after their approval. Through practice, I explore the current high school students’ presentsituation of learning behavior in ideological and political lessons, comparatively analyze thecause of learning difficulties, and fully learn from the learning behavior suggestions in the process of surveys and interviews with educators and students.Through the theoretical analysis and the empirical study we get the followingconclusions:1. A lot of high school students’ have poor learning behaviors in ideological and politicallessons, which are mainly manifested as: the learning motivation utilitarian is serious;learning attitude is not correct; there is no good learning habits and careful study plan.2. There are many reasons for high school students’ learning behavior problems,including the subjective reasons like students themselves’ weak learning will, learningmethods being not correct, and so on, as well as the objective reasons: bad social ethos, thecompilation of teaching materials, managers’ contempt of ideological and political course andsome of the teachers’ quality being not high, etc.3. On the basis of analyzing the reasons, I put forward some optimization measures abouthigh school students’ learning behavior in ideological and political course.First, the national college entrance examination system needs further reform. It should bestudent-centered, expand the rights of candidates to select exams and universities, respect andprotect the candidates’ personality, promote the fairness in education, carry forward the fairvalue of the college entrance examination system, implement the college enrollmentautonomy and improve the supporting measures of college entrance examination reform.Second, the evaluation mechanism should have a further change. Society, governmentand education administrative department’s change on the evaluation of school education is aprerequisite for the change of school evaluation system. Establishing a scientific teacher’sevaluation system is the key to the entire school evaluation system reform. Student evaluationshould take the "multiple intelligences" theory as a guide and build multivariate studentevaluation system.Third, the teaching material effectiveness should have a further promotion. Cut thecontent that is far from students’ actual distance and of low practical value. Re-adjust to theknowledge structure of each module, making it more in line with students’ cognitive logic.Teaching materials should increase some interpretation of abstract, important concept andknowledge. Fourth, school managers need to pay attention to the ideological and political lessonteaching. Schools should give enough hours to the ideological and political lessons accordingto the requirements, strengthen the entire management of the process of ideological andpolitical course teaching, increase the investment in teaching facilities and support for teachertraining and optimize the layout situation of the classroom seats.Fifth, teachers need to improve their own quality. Improve the teachers’ ideological andpolitical level and professional ethics, improve teachers’ knowledge reserve and theoreticallevel, and develop the teachers’ ability and quality, including teachers’ education scientificresearch ability,communication and cooperation ability,curriculum resources developmentand integration capabilities, as well as teachers’ IT and discipline teaching integrated skills.Sixth, students need to develop good learning motivation and interest, hone the will.Form good learning habits, including four links to do a good job of learning, develop the habitof being good at observing, questioning and thinking, respect teachers and reflect on theirown, maintain the independence of learning, explore the learning process and achievements,establish a correct outlook on life, improve the learning method, grasp the elementaryknowledge, contact more current affairs information, know about national affairs, carry outthe discussion of political knowledge, adhere to the combination of theory and practice,arrange time reasonably, cultivate the quality of students’ will, enhance the proper motivationfrom the minor matter and exercise will.
