With the development of information technology, human society is moving into theera of high technology, that is the era of knowledge economy. In this day and age, thespeed of growing and updating of knowledge continues to accelerate, people can notmaster and use all the knowledge completely on their own, one of the most effectiveway to learn something is taking the form of teamwork, which means the overall match,clear communication, good willingness to exchange information, integrate resources,share knowledge and the ability of self-improvement. As the objective reflection ofsocial existence and development, the Ideological and political education bears a majortask of training construction personnel for social development, which is precisely thegoal of team learning. At the same time, college students’ learning autonomy and inputis relatively high, they can achieve better co-ordination in trust and personalitycharacteristics. With the addition, the theoretical study and practical exploration ofindependent learning, cooperative learning, inquiry learning also has importantreference meanings. In summary, the use of team learning in the ideological andpolitical education has a double meaning for the promotion of team learning and theinnovation of the ideological and political education.As a new thing to adapt to social development, team learning has a strong practical,it is built on the organizational behavior theory, learning theory and learningorganization theory. Firstly, we should initially grasp the connotation of the teamlearning. Secondly, try to analyze the fit of the team learning and ideological andpolitical education. On this basis, we must be combined with the reality of the currentideological and political education, analyzing the influencing factors of team learning,such as the elements of team building, the individual’s mental optimization, and thecampus cultural environment. Finally, we can put the beneficial elements (such as thedepth of dialogue, practical learning) and the other practice that related to team learning(self-mastery, mental models, shared vision, the system thinking) into the ideological and political education. Specifically, this paper tries to explore the optimization ways ofideological and political education mainly from the following five areas: educationalgoals, educational environment, educational content, educational methods andeducational mechanisms. Meanwhile, with the play of the main functions of educators,ideological and political education can toward to a more scientific, more effective, andmore standardized direction.
