Wuyi University Practice In Using And Managing Its Apparatus While Pointing Out Problems Emerging In The Process

With the development of information technology and the requirement for the expansion of college experimenting laboratories, the construction of laboratories has been pushed onto a new prosperous stage. How to increase the efficiency and how to appraise the efficiency of laboratory operation has become a important target of research. Therefore studies on the increase and appraisal of efficiency of laboratory application are of practical importance in both lab management and research of higher education.The research of this paper is focused on the appraisal system of Wuyi University laboratory operation, trying to reveal its social background while following the advanced trend of present lab technologies and presenting a general description of Wuyi university lab equipment and its operation efficiency and, the relevant appraisal system, so as to theoretically form a foundation for better building of Wuyi University laboratory.With a comparison of the present situation of lab management and the ways to assess lab management in China, this paper introduces Wuyi University practice in using and managing its apparatus while pointing out problems emerging in the process. By applying the specifications of assessment of the operation efficiency to the analysis of the achievement in operation and management, we discovered problems in the management of Wuyi University laboratory equipment and finally come up with solutions to resolve them after research.Then, we come to design a system of efficiency specification for using lab apparatus in Wuyi University. We selected appropriate index and evaluated different methods through experts’ grading and dimensional analysis and finally attaining a system of lab equipment operation efficiency index. And, eventually, in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the safety index, we lay down a corresponding system of rules and requirements.The creative idea of this paper lies in our creating the index system by combining qualitative and quantitative ways to forge the system, which rationally and scientifically complies with the features of development in the operation of Wuyi University experiment equipment. The result of the assessment decreases uncertainties of manned factors while increasing credibility and accuracy of the appraisal results.
