Today’s world, science and technology are advancing rapidly, the knowledge economy has shown signs of emerging, increasingly fierce competition in comprehensive national strength, and the real competition in overall national strength is the talent competition. The main way the training is to teach education, play a leading role in the education of teachers, professional development of teachers to become the subject of education development. However, teachers of self-identification as a major factor in their career development. Directly affect their self-identity on the attitude of their own work. The higher levels of self-identity, emotional investment, the more, the recognition of the teaching profession more positive and proactive attitude can be put to work. In contrast, low levels of self-identity, there will be job burnout. Therefore, the teaching profession needs to develop a solid self-identity.To understand the high school physical education teachers in Jiangsu Province of Professional Identity of the design of the "high school physical education teachers in Jiangsu Province survey of Professional Identity," the regional distribution of subjects according to social surveys stratified random sampling method. Questionnaire consists of three parts; first part is basic information about the survey project, including teachers, gender, age, seniority, education, job title, monthly wages, work area the school is located, the location of schools and other basic conditions of work. The second part includes individual teacher’s professional knowledge of teachers, professional feeling, professional will, professional ability, professional expectations, and professional value of six factors. This part of the problem using Likert5-point score, the higher the score, indicating that the higher the degree of professional identity of teachers. The third part is a Physical Education Teacher identity factors, internal and external factors. Through research and analysis the following conclusions:(1) of the current high school physical education teachers, Jiangsu Province, the overall level of professional identity of self is relatively high, physical education teachers for their professional future full of hope, of Physical Education Teacher had deep feelings, I hope I can become a excellent physical education teachers. However, in the physical education teachers professional identity of the six factors of self-expression level is not balanced, which factors in the career expectations of the highest score factors in the career will score relatively low.(2) Jiangsu Provincial High School Physical Education Teachers Professional Identity in the degree of self-there are significant gender differences, and in the career expectations, career emotion, professional ability, professional recognition and other aspects of female physical education teachers the level of professional self-identity than male sports teachers, male professional identity of individual differences in sports than female sports teacher.(3) High school physical education teachers, Jiangsu Province, the overall level of professional identity of self respect in the education there is no significant difference in the professional there are significant differences in the will, graduate degrees scored higher than the PE teachers, sports teachers, specialist qualifications. Graduate degree in physical education teachers’professional identity than the specialist physical education teacher education, undergraduate education specialist qualifications of teacher’s professional identity of teachers is relatively low.(4) High school physical education teachers, Jiangsu Province, the overall level of self-professional identity differences in age, in the professional values, professional will, there are significant differences.(5) high school physical education teachers, Jiangsu Province, the overall level of professional identity of self exists in the teaching experience differences in professional values, professional will, there are significant differences.(6) High School, Jiangsu Province, the overall level of physical education teachers in the title of Professional There are significant differences, the higher the grade the higher the level of professional identity, but because the plateau of the phenomenon, some teachers affected by the relatively low level of professional identity.(7) High school physical education teachers, Jiangsu Province, the overall level of self-professional identity by the level of wages in the month there is no significant difference in grade level of the basic salary level of impact, physical education teacher expectations of their own wage levels affect the level of professional identity.(8) different regions of the high school sports overall level of professional identity of teachers themselves do not exist between the status quo, the existence of occupational status differences in emotional, than the Soviet Union in South, North, in the professional values, career expectations was not significant.9) cities and towns on the location of the school there is no significant difference in the emotional aspects of professional teachers in urban than rural high school sports high school physical education teachers, all other factors are not significantly different.(10), Jiangsu Province, High School Physical Education Teachers Professional Identity of self-subjective and objective factors are factors.
