The Study Of Mobile-Learning Resource Design Based On Tablet PC

In recent years, with the development of the high and new technology, the breakthrough development of innovative teaching methods, as well as the popularization of lifelong learning concept, mobile learning has been increasing attentioned by people. Tablet PC, newly introduced and popularized, is a mobile device that gathering the most communication and intelligent features. Since its educational applications advantage is inestimable, it will be the people’s choice of mobile learning device naturally. However, Mobile-Learning Resource based on tablet PC is less, so in order to improve the learners’ mobile learning efficiency and promote the value maximization of the tablet PC in education, further research is needed to study the design Mobile-Learning Resources based on tablet PC.In the backgroud of National Open University Digital Learning Resources Construction, this paper focuses on the study work of Mobile-Learning Resource design based on the Tablet PC. First, the advantages features of the Tablet PC for mobile learning is need to annalyze. Then, needs analysis is also necessary for the mobile learning resources design based on the Tablet PC. At last, we should conlude that the designed objectives, principles and design patterns for Tablet PC-based mobile learning resources, particularly prominent interactive design resources.Through the analysis of the current reasrch status of the tablet PC’s educational application and the Mobile-Learning Resource, this paper summed up the advantages of the tablet PC in education and the general classification、applied platform or terminal equipment of mobile learning resources respectively. Based on the case of Mobile-Learning Resource design and the survey of learners’needs, the characteristics and methods of Mobile-Learning Resource design based on the Tablet PC has been summed up, the design principles has been inducted and the design patterns has been proposed correspondly. At last, taking "Comprehensive English I ", the the national open University English course, as an example, this paper makes a case study of Mobile-Learning Resource design based on the Tablet PC in order to put the theory into practice. At the same time, this practice will open a sail for Mobile-Learning Resource design based on the Tablet PC, provide some reference for devisers and developers, therefore, to some extent promote the development of mobile learning and enrich the digital learning resources building of the National Open University.
