Design Resources Of Mobile Learning Based On Tablet PC

In recent years, mobile learning has increasingly caught the attention and active attemptof people with the rapid development of wireless communication technology, the popularityof mobile devices and a deeply rooted concept of the lifelong learning. At present, a mobiledevice that gathers the communication and the most comprehensive mobile device withvarious intelligent functions should be the tablet PC and relevant analysis agencies expect thatthe overall sales of the global tablet PC in2014will break through200million sets. With itsown characteristics, the tablet PC is deeply loved by people, at the same time, its prospect foreducational applications is also very broad and will also certainly become the first choice formobile learning. However, there is relatively little development in the mobile learningresources of the tablet PC and many problems are caused on the contents and functions of thedeveloped resources because of the lack of reference specifications and patterns of the unifiedresource design. In order to solve the above problems, improve the learner’s mobile learningeffectiveness and promote the educational application value maximization of the tablet PC, itis necessary to further research the resource design of the mobile learning based on the tabletPC so as to develop mobile learning resources of the scientific, standardized and high-quality.This paper makes a study of the design problems on mobile learning resources based onthe tablet PC. Firstly, it analyzes advantages of the tablet PC applied to mobile learning,secondly, it conducts investigations on resource requirements of the mobile learning of thelearners, and finally, it combines with reference standards and specifications of the generalnetwork learning resources development and puts forward the reference specifications,principles and patterns of the mobile learning resources design based on the tablet PC.Through a method of the literature analysis, this paper concludes current situations aboutthe mobile learning resources research at home and abroad as well as the relevant theoreticalbasis and the support technology. On the basis of the case study of representative mobilelearning resources selected, it obtains diverse needs of learners for the tablet PC mobilelearning resources through questionnaires, at the same time, it combines with referencestandards and specifications of the general network learning resources development, and fromthe perspective of self-learning instructional design, it proposes reference specifications,principles and patterns of the mobile learning resources design based on the tablet PC. Finally,taking the “Photoshop basis” course as an example, resources are developed so as to verifythe feasibility of the research results.
