Chemical experiment teaching close to life and society is the trend of the reform of chemical eperiment teaching, it plays an irreplaceable role in further improving the students’ scientific literacy, promoting the students’comprehensive development and cultivating the students to be qualified citizens. Based on reviewing domestic and foreign situation and development tendency of chemical experiment teaching close to life and society, the connotation of close to life and close to society was defined based on the theories of constructivism, STS education thoughts, John Dewey’"education is life" and Xingzhi Tao’s "life education" and education psychology, through the methods of reviewing of the literature, questionnaire survey and experimental comparison research, the chemical experiment teaching close to life and society in two high school in jiangsu province zhenjiang city was carried out, the implementation strategies of chemical experiment teaching close to life and society were discussed and some teaching cases were offered. The teaching experiment effect was tested by questionnaires and tests, the analysis was maked out,and the conclusions was drawed as following:(1)Key high school is superior to ordinary high school in chemical learning interest,chemical experiment ability and the ability of using chemical knowledges to solve actual problems. Chemical experiment teaching close to life and society is more conducive to ordinary high school students’ chemical learning interest and the ability of using chemical knowledges to solve actual problems,but in the chemical experiment ability, it is more beneficial to key high school students.(2)Chemical experiment teaching close to life and society is more favorable to boys in chemical learning interest and chemical experiment ability, but it is more beneficial to girls in the ability of using of chemical knowledges to solve actual problems. The last was about issue and discussion, the dissertation point out some problems in research and teacher’s perplexity,table a proposal of new evaluation.in the same time,the dissertation summarize the study.
