The latest primary school mathematics curriculum standards clearly states that pay attention to the level of students’ mathematical learning, emotions and attitudes to pay attention to them in math activities. Motivation to learn has a direct impact on students’ learning attitudes and learning outcomes. The motivation is the attitude towards learning on the basis of research students’motivation is a necessary part of teaching. Motivation is internal motivation, learning behavior and maintain a need for incentives and guidelines for students to learn the whole process of learning of mathematics as well as the results have a critical impact. Therefore, to stimulate students motivation to learn mathematics is particularly important and urgent.Using questionnaires and interviews to survey pupils motivation to learn mathematics and found that:first, the pupils motivation to learn mathematics in general is a relatively high level; Second, the primary school boys mathematics learning motivation strength higher than girls; Thried, pupils mathematical motivation intensity in grade difference, with the year the growth of primary and secondary school students motivation to learn mathematics intensity decline in the specific performance, decreased learning preferences of mathematics, decreased initiative, a sense of purpose; Fourth, the primary school boys and mathematics self-efficacy to be higher than girls, the specific performance of the boys more confidence in their mathematical learning; pupils mathematical self-efficacy in grade differences, with the year growth, self-efficacy of students’ mathematics learning is gradually decreased; primary and secondary school mathematics self-efficacy and mathematics motivation strength positive correlation with the enhancement of efficacy, motivation to learn mathematics is also gradually increased; seventh, affecting Primary School Students’ learning motivation factor there are two types, a class of students, and the other including school education, family factors. Which the students themselves factors play a decisive role, is the driving force behind the maintenance of students’ learning. Motivational strategies include:(1) meet the basic needs of students-respect and attention.(2) design of innovative teaching methods, students’ motivation in participating in the culture.(3) self-exploration, cooperative inquiry, cultivate students’ motivation in the learning experience.(4) to cultivate the students’ self-confidence, improve self-efficacy.(5) timely evaluation of the correct use of praise and criticism.
