Research On Construction Of Young Teachers In Independent Colleges

The higher education of China has transformed from elite education stage intomass education stage in the early21stcentury, during which independent colleges, a newtype of higher education, emerge as a positive complementation and an indispensableingredient of higher education. Independent colleges can accelerate the process ofhigher education universalization, and speed up the reform of its system and mechanism.Youth teacher team, a major part of teaching groups, should be established so as toactualize its healthy and sustainable development; the team should be of high quality,reasonable construct, integral competence and relative stability as well.The higher education development is indispensable to youth teacher teamconstruction; the development, quality and reputation of independent colleges areensured by a crucial factor, namely, a competent youth teacher team. For the sake ofhealthy and sustainable development, independent colleges must explore new patternsof mass higher education, establish practical talents cultivation modes based on theeducation concepts and orientations of their own, and boldly reform their teachingcurriculum and methodologies. At present, there arise some typical problems---such asunreasonable construct, poor stability, weak research ability, lack of sense of admissionand naturalization, etc. As a result, the establishment of high-quality youth teacher teamis to guarantee independent colleges’ healthy and sustainable development.This paper, taking Z College as an Example, aims at how to establish an excellentyouth teacher team, analyses the status quo and the problems of youth teacher team inindependent colleges, explores the construction approach of youth teacher team, andputs forward some solutions to low education quality, unreasonable construct and weakresearch ability for independent colleges in China. The construction of a youth teacherteam of high quality, level and stability, facilitates the improvement of comprehensiveeducation quality and level of independent colleges, and guarantees their integraleducation level.
