Research On Counselor Team Construction Of Independent College

Independent Institute as an important part of higher education, and a good and healthy development of independent colleges will help promote our professional personnel training, and help to improve our level of promoting higher education. Since 1998, the number of independent college has reached more than three hundred. in the process of expanding of Independent Institute, the number of independent college counselors are constantly increasing, counselor training and team building is becoming an important part of the construction of independent college. Construction of a high-level counselors, help to improve quality of work and level of independent colleges, but also conducive to enhancing the level of training and quality of education of students.In this paper, combining the theory of ideological and political education of college students knowledge, combined with text analysis method, questionnaire method and structural interviews and other research methods, aims to understand the current basic situation of independent college counselor team construction. This research through to the shaanxi province six questionnaire survey of status quo of independent college counselor team construction, understand the basic situation of independent college counselor team construction, combining the analysis of the literature, found that the independent college counselor team construction face difficulties. The main existing problems are:(1) the counselor work position is not accurate.(2) the counselor understaffed, low barriers to entry.(3) of the counselor team development is not stable, lack of promotion and training opportunities.(4) the counselor job burnout phenomenon is serious, lack of professional achievement(5) independent college counselor examination evaluation system exist at present stage is not reasonable. To solve above problems, the author thinks that should be from the external and internal aspects to strengthen the construction of independent college counselors team. The external level:(1) establish a scientific system of independent college counselors team hiring.(2) establish and improve the independent college counselors team evaluation system.(3) the construction of independent college counselors team career advancement and development of the system. Inner plane:(1) to strengthen the ideological and political quality and cultural quality of counselors.(2) develop the counselor’s professional ethics and improve their vocational skills.(3) improve counselors working methods.
