With the rapid development of science and technology and the need of socialisticconstruction in our country, the requirement of contemporary society to qualified personnel isbecoming more and more rigorous, which brings a big pressure to basic education. Thetraining of personnel of traditional education can not satisfy the requirement of contemporarysociety to qualified personnel. Blow this contradiction, China starts a new round ofcurriculum reform in basic education, whose range and vigor is unprecedentedThe reform also makes difference in chemistry curriculum. It makes the purpose ofeducation turn to the competency based gradually, and calls for more attention to thecomprehensive quality training of students. However, by the effect of traditional educationand the examination system, the idea of the new curriculum has not been implemented verywell. This study aims to explore a new kind of experimental teaching mode to strengthen theexperimental teaching, in order to improve the practical ability and innovative ability ofstudents, so as to enhance the scientific literacy and the comprehensive ability of them.This research explores the contribution of the chemical laboratory opening in training thescientific literacy and practical ability of the students by research and practice, by the way ofopen experimental teaching (chemical laboratory opening).The first part of the thesis introduces the situation of the experimental teaching in ourcountry, and analysis the aim and significance of this research and elaborates the theoreticalbasis of the research.In the second part, there are some researches on the theoretical study. It designs theoutline of the curriculum, teaching mode, teaching principles and the principle of evaluation.The third part is the core of the research, it takes the first middle school of DevelopmentZone of Dalian as the object of study to implement the school-based curriculum——chemicallaboratory opening, and shows several representative teaching cases.At the end of the thesis, we can get that the open experimental teaching is an effectiveway to enhance the scientific literacy and the practical ability of students by showing theachievements of the teacher and student has made, and have a look ahead in the curricularimplementation, expecting which can play a guiding role for the implementation of the futureor for other schools.
