With the wave of cultural and creative industries sweeping the globe, countries arerelying on the development of various regions and each nation’s resources to improve thenational economy and shape the international image. How to exploit and take advantage ofour rich minority cultural resources is a new topic that we face. The thesis uses the creativeproduct design which based on the national culture as the background, and uses Oroqenfeatures “cultural symbols” as the object of study, in order to analysis how to apply Oroqentraditional graphics to the cultural and creative product design.The thesis as reserve study on Oroqen features cultural and creative product design takegraphic design theory as the basic theory of creative design research, and investigated how toinheritance and redesign the special cultural elements, and how to apply to the development ofthe market.The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the background ofresearch, purpose and meaning, and summarizes the related theoretical research and practicein the field and adapts from good cases into actual designs. In the second chapter,representative Oroqen culture is used as the main line. It introduces Oroqen unique culturalsymbols in order to pave the way for the below creative design method and specificapplication method. The third chapter analysis the cultural and creative products. The authoranalysis the specific implementation method of the cultural and creative products from designcontent, design principles and design methods. In the forth chapter, based on chapterⅡ andchapterⅢ the author combines the summarized “cultural symbols” and design methods, learnsfrom the success cases which use the ethnic traditional graphical development of cultural andcreative industries around the world and abstracts two design patterns for Oraqen traditionalgraphics, that is, serialized design patterns and theme design patterns. At the same time, basedon the plane formation theory, the author uses Oroqen feature culture elements combiningspecific method to explain creative design analyses development path of Oroqen creative product market. Based on the creative design principles and methods above, combined Oroenspecific traditional graphics, the author try to open up the market, propose marketing andpropagation methods of creative design products advance market-oriented development. Thefinal chapter, chapterⅤ, combined with the design work to resolve how to use the themedesign and serialized design to practice, so that the characteristics and culture of the Oroqencan be more perfectly applied to the design of culture and creative industries.
