A Research On The Path Of Development Of Local NGO Based On Ecological System Theory

I’ve interviewed20staff selected and their server objects corresponding in Goldsong senior service center and got a mass of first information. The article has tried to research the development of NGO with Ecological system theory in social work theory as the theoretical basis and Nanjing Goldsong senior service center as the object of study. The development history of NGO has divided into four periods: chrysalis, start-up stage, stable phase, expanding phase. The case of Goldsong has seen as an organization compounded with the inner system including the personal motivation, the major, and the resources belongs to it and external system, including government purchase service and the power of the objects, and volunteers. The paper has tried to proof the three supposes:the inner system is primary support for local NGO in its chrysalis and start-up stage, and oppositely the external system has played an important role in stable phase and expanding phase, and in general the development of local NGO Is the result of the role of internal and external systems, which will help to explore the role of internal and external system in development of local NGO, and search for a suitable development path for the local NGO.This paper analyzes the views that the establishment of motivation stems from the internal system founder own experience and subjective desire, as well as external systems the practical needs of the service objects and the status quo of pension services requirements in China; the development in start-up stage depends on the support of the resources of inner system and the support of external system service objects, activity area supplied by government, and the injection of volunteers in university-man; government purchase service and stable staffjoin in it in stable phase beside the previous external support; the arrival of expanding phase caused by some problems occurring in various degrees of the two systems, namely the shortage of talents and excellent management in internal system as well as the single and weak support power in external systems both make it necessary to seek for new development approach. To sum up, the internal system has a leading role in preparative and start-up stage and the external systems has apparent effect in stable and expanding phase, so the trend is to synchronously reinforce the strength of both two systems and in order to realize its steady development we should not overemphasize or neglect any part.
