The growth of Secondary Vocational Schools’ teachers are influenced by many factors, from its own internal factors to the national macro environment, all imprint on its growth trajectory. The theory of Ecological system is put forward by an American psychologist called Bronfenbrenner in the book of ecology of human development. Based on the ecology, the social ecological system of the individual is divided into the Micro System, Middle System Outside System, Macro system and Last system, and analyzes the relationship between the people and the various systems, and the relationship between the various systems.Based on the theory of Ecological System, using the method of questionnaire investigation to investigate the factors that affects the growth of 407 teachers in Secondary Vocational School. The research shows that the influence of the five systems scored an average of 3.59. In Micro System, Middle System, Outside System and the Macro System, the factors that affect the growth of teachers most are: cognitive ability, schools, local government and education policy. In Last system, it is the title promotion. What is more, the items affect the growth of expert teachers and score higher include the current condition of family members in the Middle System, the community near the school in the Outside System as well as the national economy in the Macro System. It means that these factors are important to the growth of expert teachers.Interviews with 15 expert teachers, 15 qualified teachers and 15 novice teachers in Secondary Vocational School, ask them to tell three keys events and their specific effects. The results show that the expert teachers refer to the key growth event, involving the five layers of the ecosystem. The Micro System, the most influential events include English level, project, body health, will quality, etc. The Middle System shows that the main events including family members’ health, compile teaching materials, participate in major construction, change the way of class management, students’ achievements after graduation and so on. The Outside System includes the negative publicity of teachers’ work from network media, The Macro System includes the education policy, the negative effect of network media development to the students and the Last System contains the raise of salaries, the restriction of staff transfer in school and so on. All these factors will influence the growth of the expert teachers.Based on the results, put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote theteachers’ growth. As the space dimension, we should pay attention to the physical and mental health of teachers, the resources sharing of schools, create the sustainable developmental outside environment of the teachers’ and expand the growth resources of teachers’. As the time dimension, the teachers can accumulate the social capital, enhance the level of education, focus on the positive critical events and use the reverse thinking to actively deal with negative critical events to help teachers to grasp the key time of development. As the time and space dimensions, it is necessary to build the personalized psychological field, grasp the teachers’ role to shorten the gap, pay attention to the influence of every space’s key elements and their interactions in each growth stage and learn something from the lessons or improve myself from the conclusion.Limited to the research experience and the theoretical level of myself, the data collection and analysis of the empirical research is not comprehensive enough, the understanding of Ecological System theory is not depth enough, the countermeasures is imperfect and so on,these all need to keep improving in future research.
