Research On Large-scale Sports Event Hosting In Perspective Of Polycentric Governance Theory

The date research shows that hosting large-scale comprehensive sports event, held for economic development of the region has a great role in promoting. Therefore, in order to promote the region economy development and the city reputation, many provinces in China are actively hosting major sports events, especially in the National Games. However, the traditional single center hosted mode has restricted our country national sports development. In the one-sided pursuit of big and complete match race tone, ignoring the real meaning of holding comprehensive sports events-people widely participate to the sports events, and is the basic purpose of sports events held in. Facts have indicated that large-scale sporting events in China have been improved in the government-led. Since the Fifth Shanghai National Games, the market as the second center participants has already participated in our country large-scale sports event’s undertaking. Certainly, these are still far from enough, this article based on the polycentric governance theory of research, combined with the11th National People’s Games in Shandong, proposed the idea to introduce a third party center participants. Forms a mode which the government as the leadership, the market participates in the operation and the social non-beneficial sports organization actively coordinate, so that the national large-scale sporting events can be better services for people in the multi-centers governance. Subsequently facing the new situation and tasks in the new era of sports, really achieves the "China sports development of12th Five-Year Plan" by the State Sports General Administration. This plan made clear to mobilize society general strengths to participate in the development of national sports cause’s guiding principle, requests "Formed the state and social co-combining pattern of national sports development, while strengthening the Non-governmental non-profit sports organization to participate actively, enhanced sustainable development of Chinese sports"This article contains the following aspects:the significance of introduction for the selected topic, research programs and discussion of domestic and abroad research status. The chapter4uses the polycentric governance theory put forward to improve the countermeasure of large sports games, pointed out that to maintain the government administrative strength, to play a good role in the events organized by the market, developed the non-profit sports organization positively, caused national sports as well as the large-scale sports event may be under the reasonable effective government and the development.
