High School Teachers Need To Satisfy The Relation And Teaching Self-efficacy Research

In recent years, more and more papers are about teachers’teaching efficacy. Many researchers combined their results and the reality, and advanced a series of methods in order to enhance teachers’ teaching efficacy. The paper starts from middle school teachers’ needs, hoping it can provide proof for enhancing teachers’ teaching efficacy through analysing the functional mechanism of teachers’meeting conditions of needs to teaching efficacy.The paper’s train of thought is as follows. First, basing on the former theories and integrating the empirical researches, the author compiled the questionnaire, using Item Analysis and Factor Analysis to confirm that there are five factors, such as personal growth need, teaching development need, existence need, social support need and autonomy need. It has a good reliability and validity, shows that the questionnaire is suitable for the further research. Second,analyse the data of middle school teachers’needs questionnaire and the data of teaching efficacy questionnaire to understand the traits of them. Last, explore the relation of the two of them and analyse their functional mechanism.The results are as follows:1. From the lowest to highest, the meeting level of middle school teachers’ needs is autonomy need, teaching development need, social support need, existence need and personal growth need. The autonomy need is the lowest and the personal growth need is the highest. Teachers’ meeting conditions of need is significantly different on grades,head teachers,teaching ages and school types.2. The personal teaching efficacy of middle school teachers is higher than general teaching efficacy and total teaching efficacy. The general teaching efficacy is the lowest. Teachers’ personal teaching efficacy is significantly different on ages, professional titles, curriculums, head teachers and teaching ages.3. Middle school teachers’ meeting conditions of needs is positively correlated with teaching efficacy. Middle school teachers’meeting conditions of needs has positive anticipation for general teaching efficacy and personal teaching efficacy.
