Use Of Campus Media In Higher Vocational College Are Studied The Role Of Psychological Crisis Intervention

Higher vocational and technical colleges’students who are at the bottom level of high education show more psychological problems than undergraduates, due to social values, inner qualities, family environment, employment pressure, to name but a few. However, there is a serious imbalance of faculty in psychological health education of higher vocational and technical colleges, and their investment is also badly insufficient. Confronted with students highly prone to have a psychological crisis, those colleges with a supply and demand proportion of serious disorders must work on a new path for psychological health education. This article analyzes and summatizes the surviving status of higher vocational and technical colleges’students, as well as their psychological pronblems by literature research, content analysis, and questionnaire investigation. Currently, psychological crises of higher vocational and technical colleges’students mainly concentrate on inferiority, depression, anxiety, hostile, paranoid and so on. Emotional setbacks, pressure of study and employment, family economic hardships are among all the factors that can lead to a psychological crisis. As the national education policy and the shools’working focus, school psychological health education has been increasingly valued in recent years. The healthy growth of students both physically and mentally demands that schools perform well in psychological health education and psychological crisis intervention. Nanjing City Volcational College sums up from routine work, keeping on opening up ways of psychological crisis intervention and improve its mechanism. In the era of new media, with the introduction of campus media into the school’s psychological health education and psychological crisis intervention, NCC tries to set up forms such as network talking system, SMS chat, and brochure publication for prior intervention activities of psychological crises. Experiments, psychological testing, and students’ feedback have validated the function of school media in psychological crisis intervention. This research proves that school media has plays an active and assistant role in it.Nanjing City Volcational College’s attempt of employing school media in psychological crisis intervention can be useful references for any higher vocational and technical college which is in lack of professional psychological teachers.
