Along with the development of social sports and the appearance of the individualsports consumption concept trend, it is inevitable that the private coaches in thefitness club spring up and develop. The development of society and the modernizationof the people’s need provide new opportunities for the development of our country’sprivate coach profession. At the same time, it has also put forward higher request onthe private coaches themselves. At present, China’s private coaches as a whole are tooyoung, who are not highly educated, has a short professional experience and lack theteaching experience, which is a challenge for private coach. Therefore, it is urgent tobuild a stable private coach professional team of high quality to serve the people.Through document literature, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics,dialectical analysis and other methods, this paper will discuss and demonstrate theproblems related to the private coach in our country, and finally find the followingresults and conclusions:Firstly, the private coach as a life-long career plays a very important role inmeeting the need of professional sports talents caused by the social development,guaranteeing the continuous development of the fitness industry, satisfying the needsof individual sports consumption, and promoting the professional development of theoccupation.Secondly, social development, the modernization of people’s demand, therelative stability of the profession, practitioners’ vocational interest, practitioners’professional quality and ability, and the profession satisfying some certain demands ofthe practitioners are the essential conditions to promote the profession becomelife-long;Thirdly, the basic elements to form the life-long private coach profession are thedevelopment of the social politics, economy and technology and the cultivation of thesociety; the demand of individual sports consumption; relative system and policies;professional features; the factors about the ability in this profession and other elements not related to ability.Fourthly, some problems prevent the formation of the private coach as a life-longcareer, such as the recruitment channel is narrow, the pre-service training andprofessional training can’t meet the demand, the professional risk is big and theprofessional environment is disordered, and so on.Fifthly, there are six basic ways to promote the formation of the private coach asa life-long career, and they are to widen the recruitment channels, strengthen thecontact between the pre-service training in physical universities and the fitness market,strengthen the construction of the training teachers team, reduce the professional risk,purify the professional environment and arrange the transformation trend after theprivate coaches are too old to take on this profession.This paper aims to further promote the private coach career development and theformation of the lifelong career through the research and analysis of China’s privatecoach as a lifelong career. On one hand, it will provide certain theoretical referenceand relative suggestions to the fitness enterprises’ personnel management in ourcountry; on the other hand, it is effective to meet the demands of the professionalsports talents caused by the social development, guarantee the continuousdevelopment of the fitness industry, satisfy the needs of individual sportsconsumption, and promote the professional development of the occupation.
