The Contemporary College Students' Political Psychology Analysis In Our Country

Political mentality, I.e. political and psychological attitude, mainly for political orientation, cognitive, emotional, evaluation and motivation, plays a dominant role in the political participation of University students. As the core of the political quality, Political mentality is the key to college students to establish a correct political ideology, is the internal driving force of political participation, and is the psychological basis of a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values.Since the beginning of the new century, the reform and opening up has been pushed to the deeper, broader areas, China’s social structure, and economic elements, forms of organization, of employment, interests and the allocation have increasingly diversified. so, the political mentality of contemporary college students in China has undergone significant changes. Only serious analysis of this change, in order to accurately grasp the political mentality, the targeted ideological and political education work to provide first-hand information and strong practical basis for the conduct of our innovative, but also for the ideological and political education work smoothly and efficiently carried out to provide a strong guarantee.This article will combine my teaching practice, and90students as the main target, systematic study on college students’political mentality with a combination of empirical and theoretical. In order to ensure the objectivity of the investigation,the rigor and real, the survey asked Online questionnaire and surveyed mainly to the students of Chongqing architecture engineering Career Academy, Chongqing Three Gorges University, Sichuan University of Science and Engineering. I focused on the college students of the College a random anonymous questionnaires and made a direct conversation with part of the students. The questionnaires were designed50questions, posted online a month and a half,202questionnaires were recovered.Questionnaire after statistical analysis shows:the development of modern political prompted the political psychology of contemporary college students positive change. At present, China’s college students’ political mentality mainstream positive, mainly:open and pluralistic political cognition; active and healthy political emotion; more rational Political evaluation; indifferent utilitarian tendency of the political motives. At the same time, the political avoidance mentality, political radical mentality, the political utilitarianism mentality, political antagonistic mentality of several common adverse political mentality still exists in the contemporary college students. Factors affecting the political mentality of contemporary college students are many, including the family background of university students, the Campus political and cultural environment, social conflicts and social negative information in which the complexity of the network information, the ideological and political education work situation, as well as the infiltration of Western political awareness. To this end, we need to optimize and guide the political mentality of contemporary college students.Under the new historical conditions, what should we do to strengthen the ideological and political education of college students, to adjust the political attitude of college students? This is what the research purpose lies. Firstly, we need to strengthen the construction of teachers and create a strong group of political teachers who have acquire political and business skills; Secondly, We should lead the mainstream consciousness of College Students with the socialist core value system; Thirdly,we need to build a university and the family, society integration environment;Then, We must actively use the network position and build the network information collection and guide mechanism; Finally, we should establish a university student political and mental balance monitoring and early warning mechanisms. All of these educational adjustment measures, are included in the ideological and political education system, and it is the common responsibility of all teachers of the college, especially of the ideological and political theory courses teachers.
