Research On The Impact Of Herd Mentality Upon College Student’s Ideological And Political Education

Conformity is the ubiquitous social psychological phenomenon in our daily life.The phenomenon is widespread in college students groups,especially in the process of ideological and political education,the effect is more obvious.This kind of psychology can help college students to be in a group as soon as possible.And quickly adapt to college life,from condemnation and damage,protective effect,promote the formation of world outlook,the outlook on life,values,is conducive to actively carry out ideological and political education work;On the other hand,it can bring confusion and perplexity,even cause irreparable damage to students.Hence,political educators are to explore the relationship between herd mentality and psychological education,function system and its corresponding positive and negative cffects.Relative methods and policies are made to push college student’s political education move forward.The first chapter is the introduction part.Much research on the college student’s conformity is studied,including the causes of college students’ conformity,influencing factors and countermeasures.Hence herd mentality with the ideological and political education research is not the majority.Therefore this thesis is taken as a breakthrough to explore related theory and practice method.The second chapter is the study of the related content of college student’s herd mentality.The research found that herd mentality has three layer of duality.Physical specification,intangible hint,special personality and new media are external factors.Individual attachment,affinity dependence,social approval,inertia are the internal factors;In addition,conformist is influenced by the ownership of the individual attachment,characteristics,and group norms,condensation and the formation of formal and informal groups psychological process,the factors of college students psychological factors.The third chapter is the research on herd mentality impact on college students’ ideological and political education research.Positive conformity has helpful to the environment construction of ideological and political education environment,objects,thoughts,and mental adjustment.Negative conformity leads to negative object of ideological and political education thought,thought abortion induced corrosion,weaken the innovation ability and causes loss of sense of responsibility.The fourth chapter is the use of herd mentality to promote the ideological and political education of college students.We are to play a role of content and double ideological and political education,improve the ideological and political quality of college students themselves.Try main measures and methods to promote the development of college students’ all-round quality including the construction of educational environment,the use of media,pioneer proofread guiding role to play,group norms and cohesion,independent character shaping,comprehensive quality,responsibility,cultivating,speculative ability,mental health education,psychological counseling guidance,playing a role of main channel of classroom,Marx’s theoretical guidance,cultivated the socialist core values,according to their aptitude,16 ethics construction and so on.Ultimately improve college students’ ideological and political quality to a new future.
