Investigation And Research Of The Female Self-defense Course In Private College In Shijiazhuang

The female self-defense is a sort of fighting art which has the meaning of attack anddefense and could improve self-defense ability. It was originated from skill movements suchas wushu routine,free combat and grappling. With the development of the femaleself-defense，it was learnt in the college campuses, being accepted by the students gradually.female students who had learnt and handled the female self-defense could improveself-defense ability. When they were to meet unexpected situation, they would have been boldenough to protect themselves and avoid being hurt. And meanwhile, they can gravely crackdown the terrorist. However, the development of female self-defense in the campus wasrestricted by the feature of female self-defense and other reasons. By mean of investigatingthe development situation of the female self-defense courses in private college inShijiazhuang,we find out the problems and give advice to solve the problem in order topromote smoothly the female self-defense‘s development in private college in Shijiazhuang.This study adopts investigation method，mathematical statistic and literature analysis tostudy and analyze he female self-defense‘s development in private college in Shijiazhuang.We invited14leaders in private higher learning institutions in Shijiazhuang to complete thequestionnaire. We gave out30questionnaires to the teachers and840to the students. Throughthe feedback of data, we concluded and analyzed the present status. We also interviewed withmany professors. On the basis of present status, they gave precious advice to the developmentof female self-defense courses in private college in Shijiazhuang。The concrete proposals andresult are stated as follow：1.The female self-defense courses in private college in Shijiazhuang were not oftentaught in class. Compared with public school, it was fall behind but it takes the important rolein the future.2.The students’ willing is different from teaching aim and teaching details. It can’t meetthe requirements of students.3.Compared with other teachers，the teachers who teach the female self-defense course inprivate college in Shijiazhuang are younger. The teachers with senior professional titles arelower.The school record distribution is balanced. However, there are not so many teachers whose major are the female self-defense, and the teachers who can teacher this course are alsorare. There is also a gender gap between male and female. At present the number of theteachers is too low to meet the requirement of teaching.4.At present there is no state-compiled textbook.the book which we have been used areself-designed teaching material, some of which are download from the internet.5.The students in private college in Shijiazhuang are highly interested in learning thefemale self-defense course. Their Learning motivation is regular.There are some misunderstandings among exceptional students. the students in othercollege which don’t have the female self-defense course and the students who didn’t selectthis course are highly interested in this course as well.6.There is no special area for this course in private college in Shijiazhuang. And manyteaching places are hard ground. the colleges which were researched have the equipment tomeet the requirement of teaching. But its quantity must be improved.7.The suggestions for the development of the female self-defense course in privatecollege in Shijiazhuang:1）.Exhaust all possibilities to propaganda work, pay more attention to the arrangementof the this course.2）.Adjust plans for teaching aims and the content of teaching. Describing thesignificance of the female self-defense course.3）.encourage interchange and learning between teachers. Gather teaching experience andimprove organizing ability. Introduce female professional teacher and cultivate some teacherswho are teaching PE at present.4）.Reinforce the academic research capability of this course. Find the state-compiledtextbook as soon as possible.5）.organize more quiz show and more skills competitions. Make the students know moreabout this courses. To cultivate an interest in the female self-defense course.6）.Set up adaptive court for teaching, and buy more teaching equipment within thepermitted range...
