Shandong Province College Women's Self Defense Options Teaching Research

According to the female action law of physiology, mentality and action characteristics, female self-defense gathers various self-defense action skills as a whole, to prevent the violence attack from the others and protect the female self-safety, which can improve the female physical quality and strengthen the female psychological quality. The female self-defense is suitable for the usual young women to grasp, especially the female college students. With the deep educational reform of PE in universities, it's very necessary to offer the female self-defense class in universities, which not only can build up the female's health and strengthen the self-defense but also can safeguard the social stability and the social order.This paper uses the methods of document data, investigation, experiment, mathematical statistics, observation and expert consulting, having the 20 universities in Shandong province as the investigation object, and makes the investigation about the development of the female self-defense class, students interest, teacher resources and field hall facility, to explore the feasibility of offering the female self-defense option class in universities.Research results are as follows: the self-defense ability of female college students is poor, so it's necessary and urgent to offer the female self-defense education in universities. Since the female self-defense can improve the self-defense ability of female college students evidently, it's effective and feasible to use the self-defense option class to improve the self-defense ability of female college students. In the female self-defense teaching, teaching aims, teaching contents and teaching tasks are made according to the self-defense strategies, self-defense skills and self-defense psychology; combining with our school's reality, to improve the teaching quality of female self-defense effectively, the teachers should develop various teaching ways nimbly, adopt proper teaching organization forms, use various teaching methods flexibly and establish the completely new teaching evaluation mechanism of PE.Suggestions: universities should rely on their advantage of rich human and material resources, deepen the understanding, optimize courses offered, work out the practical feasible teaching plans and make the female self-defense option course brought into teaching program soon, to satisfy the students' needs. In the teaching process of female self-defense, the bold reformation on content of courses, teaching method, and teaching valuation should be carried out and the exploration on compiling teaching materials and teaching methods should be made, to conform to the trend of education reform.
