Study On The Pattern Of Agricultural Technology Extension Based On Agricultural Universities(an Example Of Fujian Province)

The extension work of agricultural science and technology in China is given new higher requirement by the constant development of agriculture and rural economy, and the progress of agricultural science and technology under the new situation. Diversified patterns of agricultural technology extension are the objective demand of the various requirements of famers, the structural adjustment of agricultural industry, the promotion of agricultural science and technology and the development of market economy. Currently, the pattern of agricultural technology extension in Fujian has been on the way to diversified structure. But it still consider the basic agricultural technology extension mode as the leading factor, then other extension works of agricultural technology are not paid attention to and implemented seriously, which has the severe effects on the extension efficiency of agricultural technology. Among numerous participants, agricultural universities are the leading force of technical innovation of Chinese agricultural which can relay on their strong scientific research foundation, abundant human resource and the perfect education system to play an exclusive role in the modern system of agricultural extension.In order to improve the role of agricultural universities further in the modern agricultural technology extension mode. This paper is focused on the analysis of the problems of present agricultural universities’ agricultural technology extension patterns in Fujian and puts forward to some corresponding solutions. The basic views of this paper are as follows:First of all, based on summarizing the research achievements at home and abroad, and on the foundation of some related concepts definition and theoretical foundation, this paper analyzes the connotation and characteristics of agricultural technology extension carried out by agriculture universities, and introduces the related theories on agricultural technology, which is to lay the theoretical foundation for the pattern of agricultural technology extension pattern by agriculture universities.Secondly, the paper takes the example of Fujian province, and begins with the status quo of Fujian agricultural technology extension pattern relied on the agriculture universities, including the main agricultural technology extension patterns of Fujian, the agriculture universities which is serving for agricultural technology extension, the conditions of technologic achievements of Fujian agriculture universities and the funding mechanism of agricultural extension, etc. Paper also points out that agricultural universities’participating in agricultural technology extension mode still exist some problems, such as lacking of technology extension talents, incomplete incentive mechanism, inadequate capital protection, unreasonable allocation of funds and so on. The views above are the foundation for following text to analyze the influence factors and advices.Thirdly, according to the satisfaction evaluation system of rural information service agricultural technology extension pattern implemented by agricultural universities in the perspective of famers, the questionnaire is presented and applied to make the survey of four cities in Fujian province, such as Sanming city, Quanzhou city, Putian city and Fuzhou city. Then paper analyzes the influencing factors of agricultural technology extension pattern relied on agricultural universities by practical means of multiple regression model, and also analyzes research results empirically. Eventually, paper puts forward to reasonable proposals in the perspective of governments, universities, producers and enterprises.
