This research is to measure the junior middle school students’ learning strategy servicecondition through the middle school students’ learning strategy measuring scale, thesubjects are the students of Dalian Development Zone, Twelfth middle school, GradeSeven, Eight and Nine. Meanwhile, the research carries out correlation and regressionanalysis on learning strategies and junior students’ mathematics academic achievementand inquiries into learning strategies’ effect on junior students’ mathematicsachievement.This study conducted the measurement three times to Grade Eight students by usingthe middle school learning strategy scale. The first and second were done under thecondition of same teaching method and the third was measured after effectivelyorganizing Grade Eight students for group cooperative learning, By comparing thegroup changes of before and after cooperation to reveal the junior middle schoolstudents learning strategies level and mathematic achievement changes and bothrelated cases. The study is helpful to deepen the junior middle school mathematicsteachers’ awareness of learning strategy and cooperative learning, and providesmathematics learning strategy and teaching theory and practice reference for front lineteachersThe results show that:(1) The junior high school students get the highest scores inattitude subscale, motivation is higher, but self testing and anxiety’s scores arerelatively lower, especially the self test.(2) Except time management, anxiety and teststrategy, in the other seven learning strategies Grade Seven students ‘scores are beyondGrade Eight and Nine,Grade Eight is lowest of the three except time management andtest strategy,in test strategy,Grade seven is lowest and Grade Nine is lowest in anxiety(3) Except anxiety, girls’ other nine learning strategy subscales’ scores are higher thanboys’,especially in Learning aids subscale, in motivation and time managementsubscales are also notable.(4) Learning strategies and junior high school students ’mathematics achievement are in close relation, learning strategies is one of theimportant factors which influence the junior school students’ mathematics achievement;learning strategies for junior high school students’ mathematics achievement forecastcan reach8.2%.(5) The group cooperative learning can effectively enhance students’learning strategy level and mathematics academic achievement, and can also makeboth correlation degree more remarkable.
