Personality trait is the unique nature of each person.Personality trait has alwaysbeen an important research topic of research in the field of personality psychology,social psychology and clinical psychology.Personality trait characteristics of theissues involved are complex, both society and schools, families and individuals. Sincethe theory of personality trait in the1940s, scholars of various countries activelyinvolved in the theory of personality trait.On the other hand, self-efficacy on the task selection and academic achievementhas important implications.Self-efficacy (sense of self-efficacy) by the Americanpsychologist Albert Bandura (A.Bandura,1977) in the study of social learning.Inrecent years, self-efficacy theory to infiltrate a variety of behavioral and psychologicalstudies of people, mainly concentrated in these two aspects of the person’s mentalhealth, and clinical.Pupils most of the time for learning, academic performance is good or bad isinseparable from the self-evaluation of pupils. From the perspective of developmentalpsychology, Adolescence is the period of the formation of personality andself-efficacy.During this period, many primary school due to poor academic results,their ability to hold a negative attitude, refusing to inspire positive self-efficacy;personality traits lead to some young people have low academic self-efficacy, so thatthe academic performance can not be achieved should be some levels.How to train the pupils a good personality, inspire, and change self-efficacy, andto help pupils to improve the academic performance of school education and familyeducation is worth pondering an important question.Therefore, this study MatsubaraCity, Songjiang fifth grade students,186students were using questionnaires, in-depthanalysis to explore the personality, mathematics self-efficacy and mathematicsacademic achievement among relations, and assuming that the model roadmap regression analysis.The results showed that:1. personality trait openness, prudence, emotional, math scores have a significanteffect on math scores better prediction.2. mathematics self-efficacy and mathematics achievement were positively correlated.3.Mathematics self-efficacy played an intermediary role between personality traits and math.Hope that this study can lead to the pupils personality, self-efficacy, academicrelations, concern, and guide the students’ right and proper understanding andevaluation of self, enhance mathematics learning self-confidence, hard work toimprove math and counseling provided the basis to develop targeted.
