Special education is an indispensable part of the education. Special educationcan’t develop without the development of special education teachers. Special teachertraining is the key of improving the special education teachers’ professionalism andoverall quality.In this study, we bring special education school’s teachers for example, usequestionnaire by self---“Special education school teacher training in surveyquestionnaire”, random sample of six schools where special education teachers for thestudy to investigate in11special education schools of Dalian City, the purpose is tounderstand the current status quo of the special education school’s teachers in-servicetraining, in order to make the appropriate measures and targeted recommendations fortheir specific circumstances and research findings. The results showed the followingquestion: Degree of specialization in special education teacher is not high, the low levelof teacher qualifications; Special education school’s teachers participate in job traininginitiative was not obvious; Relevance of the contents of the special education school’steachers in-service training is not strong enough; School’s teachers in-service training inspecial education evaluation and incentive mechanism is not perfect; Special educationschool teachers in-service training funds to be strengthened; Insufficient attention to theactual needs of the special education school’s teachers in-service training institutions forteacher training; Status of teachers in special education schools, the sense ofaccomplishment is not strong.In this study, combined with a special education school’s teachers in-servicetraining, practice, and put forward corresponding countermeasures: Attaches greatimportance to the construction of special education teachers in schools, to expandspecial education teacher training channels; increase the funding of special educationschool teachers in-service training; to strengthen the relevance and usefulness of thespecial education school teachers in-service training; with flexible in-service trainingway to mobilize special to teach teachers to participate in training of a positive nature;reasonable arrangements for special teaching for teacher in-service training of special education school teacher in-service training time protection; improve the specialeducation teacher in-service training for the evaluation and incentive mechanism;improve the training institutions; to establish school-based training mechanisms; specialeducation teacher training to take the path of lifelong education; efforts to improve thetreatment of the special education school teachers, recommended special educationteacher certification and access to qualifications as soon as possible.
