The Students In Liaoning Province Education Present Situation Analysis And Countermeasures

Study and work of foreign students in China, as the main content of China’seducation to open to the outside world, always highly emphasized by Chinesegovernment as an integral part of China’s foreign exchange to cultivate and acceptforeign students to study and work in China, is one of main contents of internationalcommunication and cooperation in China’s education field. Study and work of foreignstudents in China is also the only way to impel China’s higher education to go outside tothe world and participate in international education competition. Liaoning province, as abig educational province with stronger comprehensive strength, should have integratedresources, seized the opportunities, meet the challenges and exploited the situation inthe current good environment and situation. Through30years’ unremitting efforts,groundbreaking progress has been made in the foreign students work in Liaoningprovince with more excellent achievements fulfilled and stable ranking highlythroughout China.There are three parts in this report. The Status Quo of Liaoning province had beenanalyzed in first part. In this part, there are some experiences and achievements ofLiaoning province. Liaoning province makes use of scholarships to enlarging the scaleand develops a lot of teachers. Liaoning has more excellent achievements be fulfilledand stable ranking highly throughout China in2009.Part two is the main part of this report. According to the data of foreign students inLiaoning from2005to2009, the status quo of foreign students’ education issystematically discussed and comprehensively analyzed respectively from aspects ofstudent-origin country, the major selection of foreign students, degree types of foreignstudents and distribution of foreign students in universities of Liaoning province byapplication of methods such as: survey research, data as well as horizontal and verticalcomparisons, etc.The prospect of the study of foreign students in Liaoning is expectedin part three. There will be more students from every country to study inLiaoning province. And there will be more masters and doctors to study inLiaoning province. The students will be younger than before. This will bethe challenges for Liaoning province and we should meet the challenges andfound the best way to go.
