With the improvement of material and cultural life,leisure sports are gradually favored by more and more people. And people in Shenyang, which is one of the basic industrial places in Northeast, used to do exercise in a simple way,but now more and more people participate in the leisure sports troop. Therefore, in order to develop leisure sports in Shenyang, it is great important significance for us to make deep investigation on the status of leisure sports personnel.This paper made deep research on the status of leisure sports human resource in Shenyangtaking leisure sports human resource in Shenyang as research object, by using the methods ofliterature, mathematical statistics and experts’ interview. The result shows that: The overallquantity of leisure sports personnel in Shenyang is insufficient and the gross structure differenceis more remarkable which embodies leisure sports human resource’ general structure on theirfeatures of difference and equilibrium.Ⅰ. Leisure sports managers. From the academic background structure,it presents that the wholeare more reasonable; the level are more quite coordinated; but high degree talents are inefficient.From the major structure, the major components are not reasonable; Non-sports managers taketoo high percent, while sports managers are comparatively fewer.Ⅱ. Leisure sports coaches troop. From the comprehensive quality, leisure sports talents in a highquality are inefficient, coaches with higher education are less.Ⅲ. Social sports instructor. Their age structure is unreasonable, and the ones in high degree areinefficient;the whole quality of social sports instructor are not high; the classify of social sportsinstructor is not very detailed and their training institution is not insufficient standard whosemode is too traditional.Ⅳ. The colleges to cultivate leisure sports talents are comparatively less. By now there is onlyShenyang sport universities have this major for cultivating leisure sports talents,but othercolleges do not have.Relevant departments in Shenyang should continue to deepen the sports managementsystem, in particular the reform of personnel system sport for leisure sports in the developmentof human resource to create a favorable external environment. Fully develop the advantage ofeducational resources to strengthen cooperation with institutions of higher education, especiallyinstitutions of higher PE.Enhance the personnel training in various ways to improve the training system.At the same time we should actively organize and make use of leisure sports volunteers,which can not only promote the Shenyang Sports Leisure’s rapid development, but also canpromote the development of leisure sports personnel in Shenyang. Colleges in Shenyang shouldfurther improve the educational system of leisure sports and provide the community withhigh-quality personnel to meet the needs of society on leisure sports demand.
