Based on the vastly suspection of government statistic from the public recent years, this article focuses on CPI statistical survey of Yunnan province, China, analysing the research purpose, current situations and promotion approach of government statistical credibility. Acompanying with fast economic development of China, added on globalization, informazation and networked society, government statistical data has been paid more and more attention to. Government credibility is faceing greater pressure than ever before. Thorough and systemetic analyse of government credibility of statistical survey help people understant present state, importance of government credibility of statistical survey, even the urgency to promote government credibility, which may help to promte government credibility of statistical survey in the future.This article lay importance on referance research and case analyze. We introduced the background, purpose, outline and previous research results firstly. Secondly we described the basic conception and influence factor of government credibility of statistical survey, followed by case of CPI statistical survey of Yunnan province, concerntrating on the differences between public conception and CPI data published by government, the high distortion, lack of data clarity, and contraindication of different government departments.Then we analyzed the reason of weak credibility of government credibility of statistical survey, trying to find out the factor of incomplete and low-qualitified data, weakness of work, incomplete data supervision, lack of publicity and Government intervention data, the public do not understand the CPI survey principle and Propaganda to false.Finally we recommondate ways which is easy to manipulate to elevate government credibility of statistical survey:first,Promote statistics Climate Construction of Yunnan Investigation Team, train sense of integrity and responsibility of the staff, adherence to the ethics of the survey.second, optimize our CPI survey method, increase the quality of data via institutional reform, improvement of weight number calculation method and advancement the use of hand-held data collection.Thirdly, increase the economic fund and stuff training.Forthly,weaken the interference of government administration, increase the independence of CPI survey. Fifthly, we call for powerful laws and regulations to supervise and ristrict statistical data. Finally, we need universal propaganda of CPI knowledge through media and the internet. We should face the suspection from the public, update the data on time, sothat we have clear CPI data.
