The biology experiments in junior middle school are attracting much attention fromteachers and students since the new course reform started. While at the same time as schoolscontribute the biology experiments, more and more schools are trying to reform the biologicalexperiment teaching with various methods, in order to improve the teaching effect. But theimplementation of the biological experiment teaching is difficult, as the primitive conditions, theshortage of funds, and relatively backward of teachers. Therefore, according to all sorts ofproblems that middle school biology experiment faces, whether can we design an good qualityexperiment teaching stratagem which is time saving and material saving, thus improving thebiological experiment teaching effect, has been a common problem for many biology teachers tocare for and explore.First of all, this paper described the background, significance, methods, and the process ofthe research. Secondly, it expatiated on the theory basis, and denied some related concepts suchas biological experiment teaching, teaching strategy, experimental material and etc., and it alsodescribed the related theories such as cognitive theory and constructivism theory. Then, in viewof the current situation of rural junior middle school biology experiment, this article made aninvestigation, and made an analysis and statistics of the investigation results. The survey resultsshowed that the basic experiment opened well in rural junior middle school biology teaching,while the establishing of other types of experiments was not an ideal situation. The study foundthat, there were some main factors that affect the establishing of these experiments, such asexperimental equipment shortages, lack of experimental materials and experimental class limited.According to these factors, and with the considering of present situation in rural biology teachingand improvement of experimental aspects, this paper set up a new strategy, using a kind ofmaterial for a number of experimental teachings, which is suitable for the biological experimentteaching in rural junior middle school. This strategy is based on the same experimental materials,and it combined a number of related experimental projects, in order to raise the quality ofbiology experiment and teaching. Then, according to this strategy, this article made a theoreticalresearch. And from the theoretical results, we can know that this strategy has certain feasibility intheory, and it can be used in biological experiment teaching of rural junior high school. At thesame time, in the part of theory research, this paper also talked about the steps and related caseof using this strategy systematically. Finally, this paper confirmed the feasibility of this strategywhen it was used in biological experiment teaching. And this article also summarized several advantages of using this strategy in biological experiment teaching, such as:(1) it can improvethe open rate of experimental class and save material resources.(2) Through this strategy, theknowledge can be presented by the numbers, and it is good for cultivating students’ logicalthinking ability.(3) It can inspire teachers’ inspiration of experimental design, and it can alsoimprove the students’ ability of cooperation and inquiry.(4) It can increase the interest ofexperiment class, and enhance students’ scientific literacy.(5) It can fully reflects theexperimental process, and enhance students’ learning autonomy.In addition, at the end of the study, this paper expounded the shortages and problems thatappeared in the empirical study, and made some related suggestions.
