With the development of the times,China's education has made great achievements.However,in this new round of new curriculum reform,there exposed uneven development in urban and rural education,rural education is weak.The development of rural education affects the process of modernization of education in China,but also affects the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the realization of "Chinese dream".To develop rural education,the key is teacher,therefore,to improve the quality of rural education and the quality of rural teachers is essential.To cultivate the quality of rural teachers,we must first understand the current status of the professional growth of rural teachers,analyze the problems and the reasons for these problems and reasons rural teachers experienced in the professional development,implement a series of measures for rural teachers professional development,in order to improve the quality of rural education.In the current new round of curriculum reform,rural junior high school biology teachers,which are an important part of rural teachers,are also neglected and forgotten in the new curriculum reform due to their long-standing marginalization,coupled with rural junior high school biology teachers are lack of understanding of their professional development and their own professional growth direction was confused,and lack of a clear understanding about the new curriculum reform,which leads to their positive initiative in the professional growth of rural junior high school biology teachers' is not enough,professional growth is slow.How can the junior middle school biology teachers take the opportunity in the trend of teachers' professionalization,seize the opportunity and get out of the unique way of professional development,which is the most important problem in the development of rural education.Through the questionnaire and personal interviews of rural junior middle school biology teachers in MaiJi District,Tianshui,Gansu Province in this paper,it is concluded that the status of junior middle school biology in the MaiJi District is that:the teachers' degree of education is completely high,but profession is not suited to their special training,biology teachers' mobility,age,biological teaching age,distribution is irrational,professional growth is not high.On the basis of analyzing the general situation,the author analyzes the causes of the social,school and individual factors,andanalyzes the factors of gender,title,age,teaching age and biology analysis.Aiming at the professional development of the junior middle school biology teachers of MaiJi District,Tianshui,Gansu Province,the paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures: "Staying" is the prerequisite for the professional growth of the junior middle school biology teachers,and the treatment is the professional growth of the junior middle school biology teachers.This paper aims to promote the professional growth of rural junior middle school biology teachers in the rural area of Tianshui,taking the training as the opportunity and combining the school-based training as the core.
