In order to improve the quality of educational research and create educational scientific accumulation of knowledge, the United Kingdom, in the21st century, vigorously promote development of "evidence-based" educational research paradigm, which caused a domestic debate on it’s theory, implementation, value and so on. Based on review of the debate of the "evidence-based" educational research paradigm in terms of content, relationship with educational practice, relationship with educational policy-making, methodology, and feasibility, this article mainly discribes the focus of the debate and different points, which devotes to see the UK thought of the latest educational research and forecast the future direction of educational research.Domestic education researchers are still strange to the term of "evidence-based" educational research paradigm at present. This article will introduce the overall situation and development trend of the debate in UK to domestic audience. More importantly, it will, combined with the actual situation in China, explore the enlightment on scientific development of China’s educational research through proper understanding of "evidence-based" educational research paradigm.Our current education research paradigm is still in the initial stage in scientific way, we must carry forward the educational scientific rationalism, standardize educational research, promote scientific quality in educational research and avoid the risk of scientism. To promote the scientific research of education, we also need to explore the action research, train teachers to researchers; improve the evaluation system, strengthen the legitimacy of "evidence". And at the same time, we need to strengthen the educational capital investment, improve the cooperation study and establish rich educational research database, to secure educational research developing better and faster in the scientific way from the basic conditions!The main contents include:Theory interpretation of "evidence-based" educational research paradigm. This article appeared in the core concept of "evidence" and "evidence-based" educational research paradigm definition, to clear the research orientation.Debates on "evidence-based" educational research paradigm in UK. To review the controversy point of view on "evidence-based" educational research paradigm in connotation, relationship with educational practice, relationship with educational policy-making, methods, feasibility five specific aspects. This is to rich the understanding of "evidence-based" educational research paradigm. Revelation of "evidence-based" educational research paradigm for the development of China’s educational research. From the realities of China, this article is drawing on reasonable and beneficial ingredients from "evidence-based" educational research paradigm.
