Gymnastics is one of the most important components of the gymnastic education, which, as stated in the gymnastics education conspectus, including techniques, vaultclassification, bar, and parallel bars. Among the ten schools, six teach techniques, and four ofthese six schools teach vault classification. However, none of them teach bar or parallel bars, which indicates that the implementation is incomplete in junior high schools.2. Six out of the ten study subjects offer insufficient court and equipments for gymnasticeducation, some of which are even unqualified for education purpose, largely hindering theimplementation of gymnastic education.3. Due to the existing potential risks of the gymnastic education, accidents may happenduring the mentoring process. Therefore, concerns regarding to injuries arise among teachersand leaders in some schools, which limits the implementation of gymnastic education.4. Of all the gymnastic teachers among the ten schools, eighty-three have Bachelor’s orabove degrees,63%are at the age between31and40, which is a proper age structure. And forthe83teachers,71are male,12are female, indicating a serious gender imbalance. Only threeof them are exclusive to the gym class, which is largely against the gym education. 5. Insufficient understanding of the value of gym classes and difficulty inimplementation of certain gymnastic activities result in the lack of interest in gymnasticsamong students, and negatively affect the gymnastic education.
