Research On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Gymnastics Teaching In Senior High Schools In Changchun

Since the 1990s,the phenomenon of young people's physical decline has drawn the nation's attention and a new round of education reforms also has been introduced in succession. Although after nearly a decade of the reformation of physical education , the situation of it in schools has been improved and students physical fitness has increased .Generally speaking ,the overall situation is not very satisfactory.Gymnastics as a key element of a school physical education plays a significant role.It helps to develop the comprehensive physical quality of young people and raise the level of motor skills and it also does good to cultivate courageous and indomitable quality and united spirit.This paper is about the questionnaire survey of the status of the regular high school gymnastics teaching in Changchun City. It makes a comprehensive understanding of the status that the reformation of physical education being carried out and analyzes its causes and proposes appropriate countermeasures. The results of the survey showed that: physical education teacher's gymnastics skills are in a specific low level so that it is difficult to complete the task of teaching gymnastics; the physical fitness of the students is poor and they are in the low level of the awareness of gymnastics ; the sports equipment are not only seriously scarce. but also too old to meet the needs of teaching gymnastics; there is an evasive phenomenon in gymnastics teaching, so the students can not have an all-round development of physical fitness and the value of gymnastics teaching can not has a real expression. By analyzing these factors, I have made the following recommendations:1. To strengthen the training of the in-service teacher in gymnastics and the teaching of the gymnastics skills for the PE college students and comprehensively improve the special skills in gymnastics of the PE teachers.2. To strengthen propagate and educate students in gymnastics, and also to raise their levels of awareness of gymnastics and develop students'interest in learning.3.To enrich the contents of the physical training of students and comprehensively improve the physical quality of students.4.To increase the investment of the school's gymnastics equipments, to improve the status of the gymnastics equipment ;to scientificly and reasonablly arrange gymnastics the teaching contents, to appropriately increase the number of hours of the teaching gymnastics and ensure the integrity, balance and diversity of teaching gymnastics.5. To accelerate the pace of the reform of teaching gymnastics; to focus on the content updates of the gymnastics teaching, the introduction of teaching methods, the conversion of the teaching mode and the transformation and innovation of the gymnastics equipment; and to promote the full implementation of the reform of teaching gymnastics.
