The education students success or not, will in the future to students in lifelong physical exercise influence.Although college physical education teaching reform has many achievements, but in methods, means, still have a traditional sports teaching effects, so as to present new curriculum concept of sports elective course of conduct further research and analysis, and promote the reform of university physical education in our country the rapid development, which has certain.positive meaning. Research shows that:(1) The current higher vocational colleges in Hunan province with "option class" of the college teaching has a certain scale, but relatively developed area, I think it is not enough. In offering optional sports courses in the department, not the most complete options class teaching, is only part of the compulsory+elective course of physical form.Offering optional sports courses mainly is the type of2+1mode.(2) From the open content of the project to see, the current higher vocational colleges in Hunan province of sports and health, sort of knowledge teaching content temporarily without opening related theory course. In the distribution of the project above, the traditional sports greater proportion, and new project is less. Teaching organizations and the teaching method relatively old, drab, student performance evaluation relative partial.(3)For the teachers and students of sports elective course of cognitive degree is low, the school sports funds lack of sports facilities and become the main factors such as Hunan sports courses in higher vocational colleges of the factors.And according to the status quo of the results in these feasible Suggestions:(1) The higher vocational sports should adhere to the "health first" as the premise, and with the "lifetime sports" as the guiding ideology, according to the students’interest, hobbies, profession characteristic considering opening of sports elective course project.(2) Establish the principal under the leadership of the sports teaching supervision institutions, increase the investment of school sports courses, in addition to various sports department to raise money, in adequate fund under the conditions of the school sports facilities and increase the construction, at the same time the venue, equipment for the corresponding modification, in order to make up for the deficiency of the site, and equipment.(3) Teachers in the process of teaching, should improve the teaching method, choose the suitable for project of the characteristics of the teaching methods and means, in student performance evaluation process, with reference to the students’evaluation opinions, to perform comprehensive assessment.
