As human capital is paid more and more attention in the society, the subjects about how to promote learners’learning effect, develop their potentials and creative abilities completely have being discussed heatedly all the time, which means how students should learn in order to obtain better outcomes from the aspects of school education. Concerning enterprise training, knowledge management is mainly discussed by lots of enterprise persons and scholars, but considering that enterprise training and school education have great differences, no final conclusion has yet been reached on whether knowledge management can be applied in classroom teaching. This paper explores how to conduct knowledge management to promote learners’study and cultivate their creative ability from the perspectives of the instructional design by university teachers. It firstly gives a systematic account of knowledge management and design questionnaire based on this to investigate the impacts of three factors——students, teachers and environment on modern university students’knowledge management which contains six aspects——knowledge recognization, knowledge acquisition, knowledge preservation, knowledge share, knowledge application and knowledge innovation. The investigation results show that students who act as the practitioners of knowledge management have significant effect on the six aspects of their knowledge management. Environment factor has less effect than student factor, but teacher factor has no significant effect on the six aspects of knowledge management. Besides, the results suggest that learners’application of network tools such as search engines, Blog, Forum, online synchronous chat tools can also affect the preservation, share, application and innovation of knowledge. In view of the theories above and the investigation results of current situation, the researcher designs the model of instructional design based on knowledge management. This model has three key points. The first one is that the process of instructional design should be concise, instead of overall. The process can be concluded to three domains which are analysis, design and evaluate. The second key point is that the aim of the instructional design is not only to make teachers design the process of classroom teaching better, but more important is to make learners know about their current learning situation clearly and arouse their enthusiasm. The third one is that the model of instructional design puts forward the design of teachers’behaviors.
