In contemporary China, ideological and political education is regarded as a "lifeline"without any doubt, but with the continuous development of high education, ideological andpolitical education of college students presents many new questions. The lack of thesubjectivity of object undoubtedly influences the effect of ideological and political education.And it is the main point. Thus, the subject of education should give full play to its leading roleto research the inner reason of the promotion of the subjectivity of object, to find out theinitiative, creativity and autonomy of education object during education, which is veryimportant in both theory and practice.This paper is on the issue of the loss of the subjectivity of object in ideological andpolitical education in colleges and universities, which is studied systematically and has fiveparts: they are the topic, the domestic and foreign scholars on the issue, theoretical roots andlogical relations of subjectivity of object in ideological and political education, theperformance and reason of the loss of subjectivity of the object in ideological and politicaleducation. The promotion of subjectivity of the object in the ideological and politicaleducation should obey some principles and the ways and solutions of subjectivity of theobject in the ideological and political education. All of above are analyzed and discussed truly.The aim is to analyze the object of ideological and political education from the perspective ofthe double subjects relationship, to strengthen the pertinence, effectiveness and the sense ofmission in ideological and political education, to effectively improve the quality ofideological and political education, and to educate all-round and innovative talents.
