Research On Problems And Solutions Of Higher Education Revenue In Hubei

With the development of economy, the requirement of higher education has dramatic increasing; higher education has undergone a great change from "elite education" to "mass education". In this situation, the educational revenue problem becomes more and more serious and turns into a baffle to the higher education development in China. With the development of market economy, the source of higher education revenue becomes multivariate. Generally speaking, education revenue and tuition are still the main sources of higher education. Meanwhile, it presents a phenomenon of education revenue’s decline year by year and the ratio of tuition increase year by year. Impertinency of higher education revenue structure has become a prominent problem for education investment of our nation. Reasonable higher education revenue sources structure has a influence on controlling the higher education investment and improving returns on investment, and to a large extent, it can mitigates the crisis of higher education revenue. On account of this, this paper based on the example of Hubei province higher education, study the current situation and the structure of higher education revenue sources.It can divide into four aspects in this paper. The first chapter is the introduction; this chapter describes the current situation and problem of higher education revenue. Meanwhile it summarizes the research production of China about higher education revenue. The second chapter analyses the changes of higher education revenue in Hubei from some aspects. Such as. compositions of national and local revenue, compositions of financial and nonfinancial revenue, compositions of budgetary and extra-budgetary revenue. According to comparison, the third chapter sums up the problems of higher education revenue in Hubei. The fourth chapter analyses some influencing factors of higher education revenue in Hubei. At last, according to the problems and influencing factors of higher education revenue in Hubei. throws out some suggestions about optimizing higher education revenue in Hubei.
