Social Research On New Acquaintances Based On Social Organization Networks

Social integration is one of the classic sociology research issues. In the meanwhile, how to realize the social integration is concerned by many scholars. Social integration not only adjusts the relationship of people, but also affects the benign operation of the society. At present, our country is in the period of transition of both economic structure and social structure. The new power of social integration has not yet appeared while the traditional social integration weakens, thus make the society show the characteristics of atomization and fragmentation. In the new social condition, how to realize social integration could be the main problem of this study.In recent years, a large amount of community governance innovation practice has appeared in grass-roots communities. While with its promoting social organizations to participate in community service until the upgrade to the path to participate in community capacity building, the case of S Street stands out its theoretical significance on the exploration of social integrationIn the case of S street, by introducing social organizations to participate in community service, it further promotes the social organization to participate in the community inhabitant autonomy and capacity building. It not only realizes the self service in the community, but also realizes the self management and organization of the community by different hobbies and interests. It promotes the association activities, bonds the community residents and gradually forms the sense of belonging to community consciousness and the emotion, finally forms a community by the way of social network.Case S Street shows that by promoting the association activities, the atomization, and fragments of the individuals to participate in community can increase their public awareness, enhance their ability to participate in public affairs, help them improve the social integration of community level.This study calls the social integration as the new acquaintances society. It is different from the acquaintances society. The new acquaintances society is not bonded by biological relationship, but by gathering people with common hobbies or needs, which make it more like a social network with public awareness and participation. In the new acquaintances society, individuals can meet their community needs of common life and emotions, while they can meet their social needs by the market or career.
