With the continuous reform in our social and political, economic and cultural aspect,college Students’ independent consciousness is growing. They are eager to democracy andequality among them, and pay more attention to the development of personality, which makesthe dominant ideological and political education in the traditional lecture is facing severechallenges. Ideological and political education of college students lack effectiveness. Therecessive Ideological and political education is increasingly paid attention by the Ideologicaland political educators, and applied to College Students Ideological and political education.Therefore, on the basis of the existing research results, the comprehensive and scientificsystem of study on theory and the application path of the recessive Ideological and politicaleducation is the need of developing College Students’ Ideological and political educationtheory and its system,. Meanwhile, the disadvantage of dominant ideological and politicaleducation of College Students can be improved, and the effectiveness of the ideological andpolitical education of College Students can be enhanced. Based on the above, according to “ask questions-Analysis of the problem-to solve theproblem," the study on the recessive Ideological and political Education in college starts.First of all, the origin of the problem is showed. The research literatures in this area Inrecent years review. The significance of this research and research ideas and methods areclarifiedSecondly, the related theories of the Recessive Ideological and Political Education incollege are over viewed. The meanings, characteristics of the recessive ideological andpolitical education are summarized. The theoretical basis and function are explained.
