Citizen’s social morality level is a measure of a country and thesocial spiritual civilization degree of an important component of thecollege students are the hope of the nation, their level of morality to agreat extent, determines the level of future social civil morality.Social moral anomie phenomena often occur, sounding alarm bellsover the citizen moral quality of college students, therefore,strengthen the citizen moral construction of college students,become a duty-bound responsibility. At present, the moral educationin colleges and universities mainly includes two basic methods: one isthe theory of indoctrination method, namely educators teach directlyto the education object and instill social moral value;2it is to developeducation, that is, through a variety of practical activities make moraleducation object values curing, and gradually form a good moralbehavior habits. Traditional college moral education environment inour country, there is a very serious mistake, is that the moral value and the concept to the educatees, educatee can form thecorresponding moral character. This thought the moral of "nurturing"and "education" to separate, the university moral education lackspertinence and effectiveness, and even cause some universitiescultivate college students’ moral personality distortion, therefore,research on college students innovative methods of citizen moraleducation problem is imminent.Is studied in this paper, on the basis of previous literature, theimportance of college students’ moral education, the urgency of thecollege students’ moral education method innovation, as well as themethod of college students’ moral education is facing new challenges,reviewed the development of college students’ citizen moraleducation methods at home and abroad and common problems, andanalysis the college students’ moral education innovation shouldfollow the basic principles and the main method of college students’moral education.This article research conclusion is as follows:(1) in terms of thestatus quo of college students’ moral education method, takes thediscipline education, ignore ego education; Attaches greatimportance to the theory of education, ignoring the moral practice;Attaches great importance to the standard education, ability to ignorethe moral education.(2) the Chinese and foreign college students’ moral education methods have in common are attaches greatimportance to the moral education practice, and provide appropriatepractice education object space; Will pay attention to the use ofmodern means in moral education, strengthen the moral education’sactual function. Differences in Chinese and foreign universitystudents moral education method have moral education methods andcurriculum.(3) college students’ moral education method innovationshould follow the basic principles are: pay attention to humanisticcare, exert the students’ subjectivity; Attaches great importance tothe indirect effect, emphasize the permeability of teaching;Strengthen the culture construction, build culture; Strengthen thevolunteer service, attention to students’ practical; Improve thepsychological counseling, expand the space of education; Drawlessons from successful experience, improve the efficiency of theeducation.(4) innovation of college students’ moral education methodmeasures mainly include the following aspects: from the collegestudents themselves, to adhere to the principle of unification ofcultivate one’s morality; From the perspective of colleges anduniversities to set up the comprehensive implementation mechanismshould; From the perspective of society as a whole, to create a goodexternal environment.
