The subjective moral education has become the trend of moral education and the important aim of the subjective moral education is developing the students' subjective spirit. So, stating from the university students' moral development, the thesis suggests that self-education should be an important pattern in practicing subjective moral education.The thesis is made of three parts: the first part analyzes the concept and the necessity about university students' self-moral education; the second part sets forth the connotation of self-moral education and shows that cultivating subjective moral character should be aim of self-moral education and the process of the university students' self-moral education should be the practice of people's ability; the third part suggests that we should innovate the higher institution's moral education from the aspects of the instructor, approach, administer, solid support and evaluation. The author believes that the thesis can improve students' rational knowledge about self-moral education and help the students self-administer, self-encourage, self-improve and further enhance the practical results of the higher institution's moral education.
