Since our country senior high school new curriculum criterion for physics issued in2003,The education concept of our country from attention to the cultivation ofstudents’ knowledge and skills to attention to process and method gradually,emotional attitude and value orientation. In the new curriculum standard, We are ableto comprehend that knowledge of the Inheritance is as the important as theexploration of knowledge. so the implementation of inquiry teaching isimperative.however because the pressure of college entrance examination and alimited time,the implementation of inquiry teaching is difficult.This article mainlystudies extracurricular physical experiment which can increase the efficiency ofinquiry teaching.that reduces the time of exploration in the classroom and enable ourstudents experience the process of exploration and understand the nature ofknowledge.Before the research work, the author conducts a survey which hinder the modeof implementation of inquiry teaching and the situationon on the development ofextracurricular physical experiment.thereby, the author reached the necessity of theresearch. Firstly, According to new curriculum criterion and the educational theoryabout Piaget’s epistemology and preconcept, Combining with the current actualsituation of the high school teaching, the article define scope of the extracurricularphysical experiment.meanwhile, the article points out the difference that theextracurricular physical experiment and traditionals`. The content the characteristics、the general procedure of design、 design principles are stated detailedly, andexperiment case and analysis are inserted in the article. Secondly according to thebasic theory that the evaluation of educational process, The extracurricular physicalexperiment evaluation method is suggested, Evaluation Scale is maked so that theteachers on the front can evaluate the extracurricular physical experiment accuratelyand reasonably. Reasonable evaluation can play a role of encourage for the process ofexploration. Finally, Through the implement of the extracurricular physicalexperiment and the assessment of the students`various abilities in a semester. The effectiveness of the thesis is proved.
